M2 Coach
Mike Molloy, Founder
With an extensive education in multiple disciplines, I’ve developed a knowledge of how to use nutrition and lifestyle adjustments to maximize health, longevity and human performance.
I’ve always had a natural interest in learning how to cultivate health and performance, both for myself and for others. Over the course of my career, I've studied cellular biology, biochemistry, immunology and of course nutrition. My career path has given me a unique perspective on how nutrition and other lifestyle changes can be used to maximize basically any goal that you may have.
I've worked with more than 40 Crossfit Games athletes, Olympians and NFL football players. However, the most rewarding experiences of my job have nothing to do with elite performance, but instead with helping people heal. They may need to heal their physical body, their emotional relationship with food, or just heal a broken relationship with themselves.
Calling what we do "nutrition" coaching doesn't really do it justice. I hope you'll come experience it for yourself, because I truly believe we are doing something special here and would love for you to be a part of it.
Client Testimonials
CrossFit Games Athlete - Teen
Sophia Grimmer
"I have been working with M2 Performance for a little over a year and they have not only helped me qualify for the 2018 & 2019 CrossFit Games, but they have changed how I view food. Before working with them, I used to fear food, but with many conversations with Mike, I realized that food is fuel and that if I want to perform I have to fuel my body with the right amount. The M2 difference is that they not only care about your nutrition, but they care about life outside the gym, as well. Working with M2 Performance was one of the best things I could do as an athlete, both mentally and physically."

"First of all, I just wanted to let you know what an impact M2 Performance Nutrition has had on my workouts and overall energy (and sleep)! The last few months have been packed with PRs and getting new skills (like strict muscle ups). I have PRd almost all of my lifts and benchmark workouts since getting acclimated to my new macros! I’m sleeping better than I ever have in my life, and my body composition has stabilized for fat percentage but I’ve been putting on some more muscle (at least that’s what I think is happening..... the scale is not necessarily a good way to measure)"

"This really is far more than just macro counting, Mike really guides and teaches you how to make nutrition a positive part of your life and how to adjust when life gives you inevitable ups and downs."

Of Macros and Men
I’ve been a nutrition coach in some capacity for about the last 7 years. I’ve worked with hundreds of athletes, and built customized nutrition plans for more than 1000 people in that time. I would estimate that the male to female ratio of my work is close to 90% in the favor of women. Let’s be clear, it’s NOT because men do a better job with eating than women.
What It takes
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to coach over 100 athletes that list "Performance" as their number one goal. The reality though is that it's HARD to maintain that focus 24/7/365.
